In one of the craziest stories I have ever seen, apparently some hackers attempted to give people epileptics seizures via the internet.  “Why would someone do that?” you must be asking yourself.  I had the same issue.  I mean, we all know hackers love to mess up your computer’s memory and screw up your day.  But giving people seizures?  Is that really necessary?

From MSNBC:

Computer attacks typically don’t inflict physical pain on their victims.

But in a rare example of an attack apparently motivated by malice rather than money, hackers recently bombarded the Epilepsy Foundation’s Web site with hundreds of pictures and links to pages with rapidly flashing images.

That is messed up.  Seriously, memo to hackers:

Get a life.
